I want to agree with what most other people have written on here, I had a 1 hour experience flight and the time flew over. The weather was perfect and we flew out toward the Lake District, headed towards Workington then along the coast, before refuelling at Kirkbride. Then a short hop over Carlisle, then landing back at Carlisle Airport. I am not surprised how people get hooked on flying because it was amazing! Bob, who took me up is very reassuring and very funny! Funds permitting, I would love to do it again. I want to thank Carlisle Flight Training for helping me tick off one more thing off my bucket list.

We, myself, my wife and our 12 year old granddaughter, really enjoyed our flight experience. We had a 1 hour flight which covered the North Lakes and Carlisle. I was able to fly the aircraft and didn't scare the family! All in all something that we will repeat and recommend to others. Excellent!

Really enjoyed the flight and conversations with Bob, absolute top man, could have done with spending more time on the mission, remembered all the questions I meant to ask during the flight afterwards and should have asked Bob more questions about himself too. Just a few words of appreciation to say how much I enjoyed my flight last Saturday. We were so lucky to get such a nice day for it considering the weather on Sunday. The family enjoyed the day out as well, and the photos were on Facebook by the evening! I have found out a lot more about our plane on the web and loads of photos. I must say it was a lot more comfortable than a draughty old Tiger Moth from my cadet days. I have recommended the experience to some of my friends, so you may be getting some repeat bookings. My thanks to all at Carlisle Flight Training for an excellent day, especially when I discovered my daughter Kate could fly with me. I was very lucky to pick a day with good weather which made my flight most enjoyable. A special thank you to my instructor, who immediately put me at ease with words I wont forget, "I've got the pedals and throttle, the rest is up to you", that made my day! Many thanks for looking after us on Sunday when you took Jean, a disabled 80 year old, and our daughter Karen on a flight. Jean had been worrying, and yes fearing it since it was booked, but she thought it was all fantastic and sorry it was all over so quickly. She wishes you to please thank the pilot for being so kind, helpful and informative. He obviously did a great job, and I would not be surprised if Jean does not do it all again.

Thank you for a wonderfully instructive half hour which went a lot quicker than I thought it would. My lesson was fun and I learnt a lot about the basics of flying a plane. My wife would never have let me take off and fly, but I am glad she bought it for my 60th birthday. I would recommend it to anybody.

Just wanted to say thank you for a most enjoyable flight with you last Monday. I did thoroughly enjoy it and with the benefit of your local knowledge I saw much more than I would have been able to if flying alone. I would also add that I was most impressed with your whole operation - I wish more operators were as friendly as yours. The Archer was a delight to fly albeit not as fast as a 235 yet that is probably a good thing as I could take my time and enjoy the landscape and sights, in particular Spadeadam. Many thanks for the 2 x 1 hour experience flights to prepare me for a Spitfire flight from Cumbernauld. Flight was over the Southern Highlands out to Corryvreckan including a rapid descent and close look at a frigate in the Clyde and a look at a "puffer" at the Crinan Canal. The return was via a bealach between 2 hills and also had a rainbow surrounding the trailing edge of the port wing south of Ben Lomond. We finished off with several aeros over the airfield. I had control for 15-20 minutes! Fantastic!
